The process begins with the DNA being collected using a patented, non-invasive technique: using a special swab (much like a Q-tip) to painlessly collect cheek cells. The whole process is simple and takes less than 30 seconds. This sample is then sent to our highly secure, certified laboratory, where the DNA is extracted to create a unique genetic fingerprint, using a technique that takes advantage of the variation that occurs among the DNA sequence of every individual. The DNA is then stained with a florescent dye and illuminated by UV light, causing it to glow and give off a fluorescent signal.

The BiUbe is a new aquarium design from the makers of the popular BiOrb. This sleek cylindrical aquarium is perfect for your home or office. The spacious 9 gallons provides fish with much more space than a traditional goldfish bowl. Like the BiOrb, the filter system and light unit are cleverly incorporated and do not impose on the BiUbe’s attractive design, and allows for unobstructed fish viewing from 360 degrees.
A candle is a cylinder or block of wax or tallow with a central wick that is lit to produce light as it burns. But this beauty gives a whole new dimension to this idea. The complete glass body shows a transparency that is emphasised by the reflection of the hypnotic candle light. The perfect lamp to create an intimate atmosphere for dinners in or outside the house. This lamp is a genuine piece of art as it is handmade. The lamp is made up of one single compact pyrex glassblown body which contains a waterproof refill of mineral oil.
The design of this chair and foot stool is very simple, very classical, so much so that I would love to be rocking around in this of an evening, I would probably end up asleep in it. It is a swiveling and rocking chair so all the kids could make use of it as well.

Telling the time should be a simple numbers game, but this watch from Twelve 5-9 will tell you the hour with a twist. First came the LED watch. It arrived on our wrists purpose-built to confuse and distract with its flashing disco lights and strange, mystical time-telling ways. Now, Twelve 5-9 has served up the Version L, a funky new LED watch with a taste of the Orient. No, it isn’t made from octopus, nor does it taste of soy sauce.
Coming soon to a home near you, expected to be out around 2008 is the Philips 3D TV. The display is based on a High Definition panel and thus enables great picture quality in 2D and 3D mode. Integrated advanced display signal-processing offers content creators and end-users full control over the quality and depth-effect characteristics of the picture. Furthermore, a flexible 3D data interface, in the form of 2D-plus-depth, allows easy creation or adaptation of applications and content for the display.
The Rocking Cube represents more than an ordinary rocking chair. The seat area originates from the formal gesture of pushing the material through the body of the object. It is like a sculpture. The wooden veneer at the inner side of the chair creates warmth and cosiness. Foam, which is soft at the appropriate places, is used to make it comfortable.
