Philips new Aurea Televisions heralds a new age in TV viewing, TV viewing is completely redefined with the new Aurea technology, which incorporates the popular Ambilight feature of projecting light from the rear of the TV to improve perceived picture quality and reduce eye-strain. I’ve seen an older version of the Aurea in stores and the way it adapts to subtle colour changes is amazing. The price tag is a little too much for my tastes, but it’s worth seeing a demonstration as the picture quality is excellent and the new lighting effect is a nice touch.
