Chair-Wardrobe by Yulia Erohina
Published by square. March 18th, 2008Space constraints in public areas led to a reconsideration of the typical chair form, and the development of a dual-function product that increases user convenience.
If one looks abstractly at any object, it can be seen that it has an outside surface and an internal area. Usually, people use just the outside surface while the inside area is seen as empty. Today, there are so many places with a deficit of space, such as cafes, banks, and public transport vehicles, to name a few. In spaces such as these, it is difficult to find enough space for your overcoat and hand baggage – they must be held in the hands or placed on a general shared rack. This is neither comfortable nor safe.
