Questionmark Chair

This chair draws deep attention because of its unusual shape, which is the result of innovative production technologies. Viewed from different angles it always appears in a new light. A question mark or a calla flower or a shell become visible. The 360-degree swivel system has a return mechanism. The central base structure is available both in polished and in matt chrome finish. Through the available range of 196 fabrics and leather colours this chair easily integrates into individual modern lifestyles.

Casa 11 Mujeres

“ELEVEN WOMAN” house is a vacation home at Beranda. It stands on a site sloping down to Cachagua beach on the Pacific, 140 kilometers north of Santiago, Chile. The brief was to provide a second home laid out on three levels for a couple with eleven daughters whose ages range from four to twenty, and to provide all services, a master bedroom, and spaces for entertaining and guests.

Stockholm-based lighting artist Aleksandra Stratimirovic created the Sunny Day installation using medical vials filled with colored fluids. Stratimirovic utilized 4,000 vials in a sterile laboratory environment with a fluorescent backlight. When the installation is viewed from a distance, it creates the image of a girl standing by a lake with a summery blue sky above.

New York City, June 24 2008 – Visionary Italian architect Dr. David Fisher today announced the launch of the revolutionary Dynamic Tower, the world’s first building in motion, to be constructed in Dubai and Moscow with other locations planned worldwide. Rotating Tower Dubai Development Ltd headed by the Dynamic Group, announced the opening on June 24 of the reservations list for the first Dynamic Tower in Dubai. The company has also revealed the design and floor plans of the rotating building which will have 80 floors and be 420 meters (1,380 feet) tall. Apartments will range in size from 124 square meters (1,334 SF), to Villas of 1,200 SM (12,916 SF) complete with a parking space inside the apartment.
