Volkswagen shows future concepts
Published by square. July 10th, 2008Volkswagen has launched a microsite, volkswagen2028.com, showing three computer-generated concepts hinting at its plans for the future. The One is a single-seater pod-style vehicle; the Ego carries two, and the Room - looking as if it could be based on the Space Up! concept - is a mini-people-carrier which can drive itself. The three concepts have holographic interface systems, and use car-to-car communications technology for accident avoidance and free-flowing progress through traffic, and are powered by electricity or biofuels.
